I am a 5th year student in Game Programming at
Rubika SupinfoGame (Valenciennes, France) .
I started my Studies as a Game Designer, but after some Projects I realized that I prefered to work as a Programmer / Tech artist because it allows me to be versatile. I also think that working as Programmer / tech Artist is more "concrete" and more pleasant.
I also like to create/design some VFX's to make my games feel good and juicy.
(I am currently learning how to rig and animate on blender)
As a player I enjoy playing Multiplayer Games like GuildWars 2, Legends of Runeterra, Among us & Chilvary (1 & 2).
I also appreciate a lot the licence "Age Of ", puzzle games / long term strategy games (Islanders/Civilisation 5 and 6) and tactical games (darkest dungeon, Dofus/Dofus Arena, BloodBowl 2).
Except games, what do I like ?
I am a great fan of animation Series /Film. I love the dynamics & the feel.
Moreover it's inspired me a lot for VFX creation & when I work on game feels.
My favorite animation studios/series/films are:
Trigger Studio/Ghibli Studio
Wakfu/LastMan/Full Metal Alchemist BrotherHood
The boy and the Beast / Princess Mononoke / Sword of the Stranger / Paprika.
I am also very interested in science. I love discovering and learning more about exotic species or uncommon phenomena.
I am also interested in facts about human biology , physics and chemistry.
As Game developer here are a few of the games that have inspired me a lot :
GuildWars 2 for the interesting figthing system, which enable loads of interactions with allies/enemies
(Fighting and the importance of each member of the group, talking about PvP & PvM at a High Level).
This fighting system creates a real synergy between each member of the group and enables each member to shine at some specific moments.
Moreover it offers players a great amount of choices while fighting or during theory crafting sessions.
Rayman 2 & 3 inspired me a lot because of how incredible the main characters and their interactions are.
Rayman's universe is really great and enables Game Designers to design hilarious mechanics/interactions .
I also really like Boss fights in Rayman which combine skills and a good use of level design .
There are a lot of other games that have inspired me a lot like :
Super Smash Bros Ultimate for the great game feel.
Zelda Breath of the wild for its incredible world / Level design which catches the player's attentiveness every single time.
For Honor with its innovative fighting system ...
