In this Level the player infiltrates an opponent's secret base which has to be destroy before it's entirely finished .
I wanted to offer a maximum amount of way to the player to make them feel a bit lost in this huge complex and to enable them to choose which way they want to take.
The Level is mostly underground but the player can go outside to progress faster .
However go outside means to be exposed to mortar's fires .
Zone 1 : The complex's hangar
This 1st zone enables players to practice their skills as mecha pilot . Moreover it enables players to choose if they want to go outside the complex or stay in.
There are lot of check point and life bonus in order to make this first zone easy to pass.
Zone 2 : The complex
This 2nd zone is composed of different little parts , at the bottom a part which is still under construction , with less guard but more dogs it grants a swift progression for the players.
However there is only one checkpoint at the entrance.
The medium part which comport some storing areas , where the player could find ammo crates or bonus lives.
Finally , the top area which grants an easy access to the boss room but which is well guarded, However there is a good amount of checkpoint, to enable players to retry the boss faster.
Zone 3 : Outside
In this zone the players have to worry about mortar's fires , there is only one checkpoint at the beginning of the zone .
If they success passing this zone they can access the boss room which save them a lot of time.
Zone 4 : The boss Room
Players fight the boss in this room , they can use zip-lines to avoid devastating attacks or use the unfinished floor to go below the boss. But they have to hurry , the cave is collapsing because of continuous mortar's fire .
